Initially, Zopnote was designed to empower the local business owners with solutions but as time is passing by, we came across some business owners who all are using Zopnote the billing and collection app as their operations manager. Today we’ll be talking about Vikky, a poultry shop based out in Bangalore. They have multiple shops covering a large geographical area in Bangalore, Karnataka. On average they serve around 25 communities which include 2000+ families. As there are so many D2C and B2C apps to serve fish and meat demand in the neighbourhood, local meat shops are also adopting tech to give a better experience to their regular customers and getting efficient in handling orders.Â
We thought, our product can only be used by local business owners to maintain the bahikhata digitally but Vicky, the owner of Vikky’s Fresh meat shop” has proved us wrong. While we asked the shop owner how Zopnote is helping him to manage his business, his answers have amazed us. He said, “Zopnote is not only helping me receive payments from customers, but also it’s helping me to get the exact sales figure at the end of the day as I’m using it to manage my sales.” Â
When we asked him to explain the process, he said, “We are using Zopnote for each and every order, no matter the customer is paying the cash upfront or paying after delivery (as we deliver to home) in most of our outlets. As it’s digital recording all the transactions, I don’t have to visit every branch to reconsolidate the sales. I can do that while sitting in any of the branches. Even, we have regular customers, whom we provide things on credit. They can pay their bills without visiting my shop via different payment options offered by your app.” He also added, “Since Zopnote helps to capture sales by different routes, which is nothing but communities. It helps to track orders by routes and also collection status. This is the most usefulâ€
When we asked him about the challenges he faced he said, “In the initial stage, it was difficult for me to make everyone understand the useability of this app but as the time went by our employees and consumers have adapted it.” He also added, “along with the digital bahikhata, the online payment reminder feature has helped us to make the collection process more efficient and time-saving. Now my delivery boys are doing the delivery only, they are not assigned with the collection task.”Â
